2020 Online Canton Fair Is Starting

China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, was founded in the spring of 1957. It is held in Guangzhou in spring and autumn every year. It is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the people's Government of Guangdong Province and hosted by China Foreign Trade Center. It is a comprehensive fair with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete variety of commodities, the largest number of buyers and the widest distribution of countries and regions, the best trading effect and the best reputation in China Comprehensive international trade event.

After 63 years of reform, innovation and development, the Canton Fair has gone through various severe tests without interruption. It has strengthened China's trade with the world, demonstrated China's image and development achievements. It is a high-quality platform for Chinese enterprises to explore the international market, and a guiding and demonstration base for the implementation of China's foreign trade development strategy. It has become the first promotion platform of China's foreign trade, known as the barometer and vane of China's foreign trade, and the window, epitome and symbol of China's opening up.

By the end of the 126th session of the fair, the total volume of export transactions was about US $1412.6 billion, and the total number of overseas purchasers at the fair was about 8.99 million. At present, the exhibition scale of each Guangzhou Fair is 1185000 square meters, with nearly 25000 exhibitors at home and abroad, and about 200000 overseas purchasers from more than 210 countries and regions.
