What is Rotary Screen Printing
The printing screen of rotary screen printing is made of metal mesh or fiber mesh. Metal mesh is more commonly used. Various floral, geometric, and animal patterns are engraved on the metal mesh. The size of the mesh is selected according to the fineness of the required pattern. The screen can also be made according to the customer's pattern. The surface of the screen is usually coated to form a barrier part of the pattern to prevent the penetration of pigments, thereby forming the corresponding pattern.
Printing process:
When printing, the fabric is laid flat in front of the printing press, waiting to pass through the rotary screen cylinder of the printing press.
The rotary screen rotates and pushes the dye or pigment to the surface of the fabric through the scraper. The dye only passes through the open areas of the screen, and these areas will form the desired pattern.
The rotating movement of the rotary screen makes the coverage of each printing fixed and uniform, without partitions, thus ensuring the clarity of the pattern.
